This week’s post is about a really fun project we had recently in Walmley, near Birmingham in the West Midlands. It’s not everyday we get approached to design and fit an en-suite with steam room, but it was not something we were going to shy away from! Whatever your bathroom desire, we can bring it to life.
The client approached us having an existing en-suite but with the wish to redesign the space to include a steam room with built in seat, along with a wet room area for showering.
With any project we ensure we work closely with the client to really achieve their vision. It is something we feel incredibly passionate about. We are redesigning an integral part of your home. A part of your home that should invoke a feeling of calm and retreat. Somewhere you can truly relax and escape. And we can only achieve that vision by ensuring that we are working together through every step of the process.
This project involved a lot of detail, including the curved walls that we created. This allowed the visual flow of the room to run seamlessly, as well as allowing maximum space inside the steam area. The curved walls of course needed to be practical, but more importantly be visually perfect where the mosaics where going to be installed. With the room being compact in size, it was vital that the planning was absolutely on point.
We loved the challenges of this project, and it is always fun to have a brief that includes something a little different to the norm. The client was really pleased with the outcome and we were delighted we could bring their vision to reality.
The brands we used for this installation were – Villeroy and Boch, Hans Grohe, Geberit, Impey, Matki, Victoria Albert, Keuco and Cross Water.
