This month we’re showcasing a master ensuite redesign and installation that we carried out recently for a client in Four Oaks Park, Sutton Coldfeld. The homeowner was looking to achieve a walk in wet room that made the absolute most of the space available.

In the initial design consultation, we discussed with the client our ideas for how we could install a level access wet room and because of the shape of the room we could also create a better storage area behind the freestanding bath whilst still keeping the modern theme. The ideas were well received and we proceeded with the project. We built a bespoke cabinet which incorporated a track, allowing for some gloss anthracite doors to slide the full width of the room, keeping the aesthetic sleek and inline with the design of the room as a whole.

During the refurbishment, we removed the floor tiles to find that the previous installers had tiled directly on to the floor boards which really is not ideal. Before re-tiling, we installed a complete new moisture resistant T&G floor, with construction board on top of that ready for tiling on to.

The client was delighted with the end results. The overall service from start to finish was excellent they advised, and we have since bee invited back to redesign and install a new family bathroom for them too. Our particular favourite feature of this project is the double entry wet room. Not only is this a fantastic showering space, but also looks great and most definitely makes the most of the room available.

As always, we pride ourselves on using only quality materials and with brands we can trust. This installation included: Grohe, Aqua trend, RAK, Frontline, Impey, Aqua dart, Delta boards & Radox.
